The festive diary has gained a little more panto sparkle. Floral Pavilion has announced new cast members for Aladdin, giving New Brighton audiences a fresh glimpse of the company coming together for this winter's production.
The council's 16 October update introduces John-Paul Birss as the Emperor and Rosie Royle as the Spirit of the Ring. They join a company that includes James Mackenzie as Abanazar and Sean Jones returning as Wishee Washee.
The production runs from 5 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. The cast launch has already happened; the performances are still ahead. Follow the theatre's official information to choose a date and check current booking arrangements.
Part of the pleasure of a panto outing is the shared ritual: choosing who is coming, debating the best jokes afterwards and making an ordinary winter afternoon feel like an occasion. For local families and friendship groups, there is time to plan that little tradition.
